About Managing Trustee of the Organization
Mrs. N.Pavithra is the managing Trustee of the organization. She studied TTC, BSC costume Designer. She also studied Three years Diploma Course in Tailoring Training and also a six month course in Beautician. She has been a committed and sincere social worker and delivered appropriate services to the needy from her childhood. In her early stage of schooling age she work for the poor and old age people for the daily needs such as arranging foods and clothes for them. She also help the uneducated people by helping them writing application to get the ration card, voter ID and Old people pension and other social services along with her mother. After the school education she trained as Tailoring teacher course and starts a small training centre in her home town and gives training to the unemployed youths and girls for their sustainable livelihood. Before establishing this organization, she made vibrant initiatives and created a skill training unit in the name of MALAR ACADAMY where he conducted the tailoring training programme to the unemployed youth particularly women and girls to improve the standard of life of rural people. More than 2000 rural women got tailoring training through this academy. These experiences were instrumental for her thought and brought an institutionalized approach. She started an organization in the name of Malar Rural Welfare trust on 24.07.2020. The main objectives to initiate this organization are to address women issues like women’s rights, leadership and empowerment through issue based campaign and community level activities. Through this organization we plan to provide skill development training for rural women in our target area to increase the employment opportunity as a contribution to the empowerment of women. During this financial year 2020-2021 we propose to start one handicrafts and tailoring unit and train the most disadvantaged poor women.

INTRODUCTION
MALAR RURAL WELFARE TRUST commonly known as MALAR Trust is Registered under Indian Trust Act. It is operating at Paramakudi of Ramanathapuram District. It works towards empowering women through collective action on issues relating to livelihoods and empowerment. When it started in the Year of 2020 had the objectives of catalyzing the poor, enabling them to eradicate their poverty and became self reliant by increasing their incomes. MALAR Trust has contributed its service from the grassroots level that is giving awareness about the SHGs and formation of Self Help Groups. Our organization is dedicated to the development of disadvantaged groups, and especially rural women, through grassroots action, research, and education. We envisage an integrated strategy to address the challenges of poverty and underdevelopment. It aims at building self-reliance amongst disadvantaged groups by alleviating poverty through sustained income generating programmes. The Mandate of the organization is to enable the marginalized and disadvantaged rural communities to achieve their socio economic development through the process of awareness building, organized right based empowerment activities.

Objectives
To create awareness in the field of environmental conservation and ecology among the rural people particularly to the Farmers.
To take up Environmental education programmes for children, students youth, women, NGO, and so on and to undertake nurseries and tree plantation programme in order to safeguard the national resources.
To promote social forestry and plantation and to clean the ponds, lakes and reservoirs. Provide consultancy and encourage the use of renewable sources of energy.

To promote conservation and preservation of Biodiversity, terrestrial and coastal eco-systems, native animals and plants including high breed cross varieties, natural resources, water sources, endangered species, flora and fauna of the region, exotic and endemic (both in-situ and ex-situ) species in order to develop livelihood of the dependent people
